Customer feedback:

1. I got my VholdR about a month ago, and I really like it. The camera is really small (only 4.8 oz total), and the video quality is great for such a small device. With a few zip ties, I was able to mount it to my vented cycling helmet, and the footage I’ve gotten is great. The large record/stop record button makes the camera really easy to use while riding/doing other activities. Also, the dual laser system makes it easy to align the camera properly. Lastly, I love that the software makes it easy to upload the footage to the website.
I use it for cycling, traveling, kayaking, and I plan to use it for skiing in the winter. The only small downside is the microphone noise, but when I’m not going 40 mph on a bicycle, it works great, and with some tape over the mic, the noise is significantly reduced when I am riding. Overall, it’s a great buy and I’d recommend it to anyone.

2. Camera is so light and versatile I’ve used a basic piece of Velcro strapped to my cap visor during golf, stuck it to my bike frame, velcro’d to my motorcycle kickstand, strapped it to ski pole to check a wasp nest, and of course it serves great as a plain ol’ helmet cam too. Someone even stuck it to an RC Plane. Even on their dog for a dog cam view. yup! Set yourself free!! no wires means you will not have to worry about much except wiping out while catching your buddies on film.
With the flick of the glovable slider on/off switch and audible sounds and aiming lasers you are able to basically use it with your eyes closed or even place it where you can’t see it during filming. Its got a supermic as well – it will pickup a pin dropping ;o) All which can be adjusted when you edit/censor your movies even add music. The build quality is very durable and can take impact.

Sylvania GNET28001ON Meso 8.9-Inch Netbook PC (1.6 GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB Hard Drive, Ubuntu OS, 4 Cell Battery) Black

Customer feedback:

This little netbook is half the size of a normal laptop, and weighs hardly anything. I was really impressed with the Ubuntu operating system – don’t be intimidated if you have never used linux before! It is super easy to get used to, and what is really awesome is the add/remove program tool. Instead of going to the computer store and buying programs, you just use this application to access literally thousands of programs to do anything, even great games – ALL ARE FREE!
It operates silently, runs all sorts of programs quickly (3D games not so well), transfers data via USB faster than any other computer I have used, and the battery lasts almost 3 hours – though it was 3.5 hours when I got it a month ago. Everyone who sees this computer loves it too.
When comparing stats to other little netbooks you will see that this is the best buy, and trust me – get the Ubuntu version and stop being a slave to corporate software giants!!!

Customer feedback:

1. How do I like the 760? For the most part, I am extremely pleased with the performance and functionality of the 760. Like most people I do have a list of my personal improvement and enhancements for the system but they are not deal breakers. When I first received the unit, I tested it on a trip to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park. The directions to and from the Park and Palm Springs were flawless and the GPS recognized all the main roads within the park. We actually encountered some road construction on one of the main highways and the traffic receiver recognized the jam but gave us a strange recommendation. It directed us to go down the off-ramp and immediately get on the next on-ramp. We did this twice and it actually moved us ahead in traffic. I’m not sure how effective that strategy would be in other similar situations. The speaker volume could be louder but I could easily understand the commands traveling at 80 mph. I have also tested the system on several routes throughout Southern California and the system performed very well. All of the main features worked as published with a few exceptions noted below. The user interface is very well designed and I was able to operate 80% of the functions without reading the manual. In addition to the 760, I also purchased the Garmin Friction Dashboard Mount which I believe is superior to the glass suction mount provided.

2. Garmin 760
Pros: routing engine seems very good, multi-destination routing optimization, good POI database, more map updates compared to competition, great user interface
Cons: touch screen is not very sensitive, outdated map data, FM transmitter is useless, expensive
