This printer is so easy to use. Without reading the instructions I was printing pictures almost immediately after opening the box. The easiest part about it is that you don’t have to hook it up to the computer, and you can still crop and adust the darkness of the picture. In less than a minute you will have a clear true color 4×6 print. This printer can only print 4×6 prints, but how often do you need enlargements? For less than $200 this printer will not disappoint you. The only draw back is that the 1.8″ LCD display could be a little more clear. The text is very clear, but the image of your picture isn’t as clear as it could be.

This printer is wonderful and the picture quality is superb and they are so clear. I have a Cybershot T-1 camera and the combination is nice. The printer speed was quick too! I couldn’t believe how easy it was to connect the printer to the TV and view the pictures that I had stored on my camera and edit the pictures using a remote control. I would recommend this printer because of the easy setup, quick printing speed, and excellent quality of the pictures.

The prints resist water, smudging, and most notably fading. Epson estimates an archival lifetime of up to 200 years if the photos are kept in a relatively dark place (such as a photo album) or up to 100 years in a frame (see Epson’s web site for details). True borderless printing (or bordered, if you prefer) combined with sturdy stock help to give your prints a professional look and feel. A cartridge level indicator lets you know how much ink you have left.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK :
The prints are dry coming out of the printer, scratch resistant, and gorgeous. They are equal in quality to 60 cent prints from a photo shop and superior to what you can get at CVS, Costco, or online. I have only had to clean the print head once. I use Photoshop Elements to crop and edit all my photos and have never had the cropping problem described in previous reviews.
A few minor caveats: You MUST use Epson PicureMate paper. Results are poor to fair with anything else.
