Sync and charge your iPod, transfer files at lightning speeds, download your digital photos. The USB 2.0 dock does it all, and no other keyboard has it. In addition to the dock, the keyboard also has a conventional 2-port USB hub located on the back, for plugging in your mouse, joystick, and other USB devices.

Customer feedback:

1. This keyboard satisfies the need i had for a cheap but reliable and responsive keyboard made specifically for macs. I had been considering a Kensington, but the fact that that one had only one USB port — for the keyboard itself — made me consider other makes and models. I’m thrilled this one has a USB 2.0 dock, so now i won’t get the ‘you should really have a 2.0 port” message every time i plug in my ipod.
The cons, though, are that the USB ports are right in the center of the back panel of the keyboard, so right now the USB wire for my mouse is back up against the CD/DVD tray of my G4 imac. Not that i open and close the tray often, but still … Also, in an effort to make using the various symbols and foreign characters a little easier, each key has not only the usual letter, but two [or in the case of the numbers row, 3] other symbols on it, which makes the keyboard as a whole look really busy and disorientating.

2. This keyboard has been a very good value. The 2.0 usb port is the main reason I purchased this model, and it’s fast & easy to access. For anyone with a flash drive or an I-pod to connect, this board is it. I also find I like the multiple character access available on each key. 3 or 4 characters are achieveable from each key, depending on shift or control. The keys have a nice feel with a positive contact that gives you the feedback that you depressed the key but not hard to stroke. For those that remember typewriters, this keyboard has a better feel than some computer keyboards I’ve used. The price was also a pleasant feature and I really don’t know why anyone wouldn’t like this keyboard. I’ve had it now for about a month so if I were to have a complaint it would have arisen by now.
