* The side shelves are made of very durable material, and it’s easy to clean. The side shelves also have drink *beer holders* that are far offset from the grilling surface to keep the brew cool
* The grill has a thermometer that works! And the ignitor works too.
* You don’t have to use briquettes with the flav-r-wave, but you can if you want to
* The grilling surface is huge, no space wasted, and the upper rack is twice the cooking size, even though my charm glow grill was about the same overall size.
* The instruction manual that comes with the grill is mind blowing – pictures, sturdy, color manual with recipes, instructions for care, index, ideas. It’s written by folks that genuinely want you to enjoy your grill!
* There’s really not much assembly to do – I’m a bean counter and figured it out.
* The knobs to hang your brushes from are a nice touch

Pros:
- Allows you to cook with charcoal, gas, or smoke (with the optional side firebox).
- The 3 burners on the gas side are close to the cooking surface which makes it really easy to control the cooking temperature.
- The side firebox somes with cooking grates for grilling 1-2 steaks.
Cons:
- The grease pan is difficult to clean.
- The ash tray can be cumbersome to remove.
- It could really use some better wheels, this is a HEAVY grill if you have the firebox attached and moving it around is tough.
- No option for using natural gas as a fuel source.

- Assembly took about 15-20 minutes, very easy and straightforward.
- Unit has electric start, but the one thing they don’t show you is which way the battery needs to go into the electric starter, reverse the AAA battery polarity if starter doesn’t work, you have a 50% chance of getting it right the first time.
- Excellent design and well constructed.
