I bought the tablet to aid me in using graphics software for college. (I’ve owned a wacom graphire in the past & loved it too!) It was a decent price and does everything I want it to! Mostly, Adobe products, but the Corel software it comes with is actually impressive for a freebie (tons of brushes, filters, and such! You can also use the tablet to write out items in a word processing program or even use it as a mouse. Which is great for me- ergonomics make life so much easier!
I highly recommend this as a starter tablet.. I see myself giving this to my son and moving up to one with more bells and whistles in the future.. But, for right now it’s nice to be able to focus on the task at hand.

This is the first tablet I’ve ever had. I purchased it because of the low price, thinking that I would just deal with the defects inherent in buying a cheap product. However, I have yet to encounter any defects! It works perfectly with my existing programs, the stylus is comfortable to handle, the tablet is light, easy to transport and plug in, and the pad is very sensitive. Definitely worth the money and I would recommend it to any first time tablet user. It’s incredibly easy to use. My only complaint is the hot buttons on top all look the same, but I solved that by putting little stickers above the ones I use the most often to differentiate between them!

Cons:
- The digital rendition of pen strokes is a little sloppy (but you can still see what was written).
- Ink cartridges run out very fast.
- Special paper is required (although it’s not very expensive).
