Customer Feedback

First, the laser button also puts Powerpoint into presentation mode, a feature absent on the previous model. However, rather than presenting the current screen in presentation mode, it goes to the first page of the presentation. I could see this being a disadvantage if you want to use your laser pointer while being in the normal view mode.
The USB transmitter that plugs into the computer is nearly half the size in the new version, which is nice, given the bulky size of the previous version. The device now runs on AAA batteries instead of a smaller, disc-type battery. This is nice, since you had to go to a store to pick up replacement batteries for the old version.
The new device is also slightly heavier, but not significantly so.

Tootin’ Our Laser We don’t like to brag, but it’s tough not to in a case like this. This is a wonderful pen-shaped laser pointer, 5-1/4″ long, flat black or silver with gold pocket clip and head. It throws a red point a loong way (we’ve thrown it two city blocks at night, and it would’ve gone farther, but buildings got in the way). And what are we so proud of? We’ve seen a very similar item-not identical, mind you, but essentially the same-in one of those glossy, toys-for-grown-men catalogs. Their price? $40! We’re proud not to be profit-mongers, buy it here and you can take pride in your smart shopping habits. Batteries included.

The price was right and it arrved quickly BUT it was a defective pointer. After using it for only a very short period of time, the pen itself became too hot too touch. After opening it and removing the batteries, we determined the problem was that the spring was slighty bent. We emailed the company and received a 2nd pen free-of-charge. THIS ONE WORKS PERFECTLY.

I bought one of these a month ago at a much higher price, but it was also Refurbished. The product is great, no need to spend money on a new one, the factory refurbs are just as good. You can’t even tell they are refurbished. I was amazed how well they work, if you have not used a Tablet before I suggest you try it.
