VholdR is a wearable camcorder that records hands-free video from within the action. VholdR records up to 2-hours of TV quality audio and video to an internal MicroSD card. Its operation couldn’t be simpler with a single on and off switch. Even when wearing gloves, the oversized magnetic button can be operated easily for one click recording. VholdR’s TRail Mounts attach it to your helmet, goggles, handle bars, or vehicle, to record video in any weather conditions. Its rotating lens and patent pending laser alignment ensure you get the shot every time.
Tag your videos with the title, description, keywords, and location. VholdR is leading the way with Geo-Tagging for video because where you recorded your adventure is as important to us as what is in the video. Search and discover videos on the VholdR.com Geo Maps.

Technical Details:
Shoot to share online technology
One touch on and off switch
Laser-activated smart leveling
Rugged and withstands dust, dirt, mud, and snow
Records up to 2 hours of video footage

Customer feedback:

1. I got my VholdR about a month ago, and I really like it. The camera is really small (only 4.8 oz total), and the video quality is great for such a small device. With a few zip ties, I was able to mount it to my vented cycling helmet, and the footage I’ve gotten is great. The large record/stop record button makes the camera really easy to use while riding/doing other activities. Also, the dual laser system makes it easy to align the camera properly. Lastly, I love that the software makes it easy to upload the footage to the website.
I use it for cycling, traveling, kayaking, and I plan to use it for skiing in the winter. The only small downside is the microphone noise, but when I’m not going 40 mph on a bicycle, it works great, and with some tape over the mic, the noise is significantly reduced when I am riding. Overall, it’s a great buy and I’d recommend it to anyone.

2. Camera is so light and versatile I’ve used a basic piece of Velcro strapped to my cap visor during golf, stuck it to my bike frame, velcro’d to my motorcycle kickstand, strapped it to ski pole to check a wasp nest, and of course it serves great as a plain ol’ helmet cam too. Someone even stuck it to an RC Plane. Even on their dog for a dog cam view. yup! Set yourself free!! no wires means you will not have to worry about much except wiping out while catching your buddies on film.
With the flick of the glovable slider on/off switch and audible sounds and aiming lasers you are able to basically use it with your eyes closed or even place it where you can’t see it during filming. Its got a supermic as well - it will pickup a pin dropping ;o) All which can be adjusted when you edit/censor your movies even add music. The build quality is very durable and can take impact.

Customer feedback:

This little netbook is half the size of a normal laptop, and weighs hardly anything. I was really impressed with the Ubuntu operating system - don’t be intimidated if you have never used linux before! It is super easy to get used to, and what is really awesome is the add/remove program tool. Instead of going to the computer store and buying programs, you just use this application to access literally thousands of programs to do anything, even great games - ALL ARE FREE!
It operates silently, runs all sorts of programs quickly (3D games not so well), transfers data via USB faster than any other computer I have used, and the battery lasts almost 3 hours - though it was 3.5 hours when I got it a month ago. Everyone who sees this computer loves it too.
When comparing stats to other little netbooks you will see that this is the best buy, and trust me - get the Ubuntu version and stop being a slave to corporate software giants!!!

Customer feedback:

1. How do I like the 760? For the most part, I am extremely pleased with the performance and functionality of the 760. Like most people I do have a list of my personal improvement and enhancements for the system but they are not deal breakers. When I first received the unit, I tested it on a trip to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park. The directions to and from the Park and Palm Springs were flawless and the GPS recognized all the main roads within the park. We actually encountered some road construction on one of the main highways and the traffic receiver recognized the jam but gave us a strange recommendation. It directed us to go down the off-ramp and immediately get on the next on-ramp. We did this twice and it actually moved us ahead in traffic. I’m not sure how effective that strategy would be in other similar situations. The speaker volume could be louder but I could easily understand the commands traveling at 80 mph. I have also tested the system on several routes throughout Southern California and the system performed very well. All of the main features worked as published with a few exceptions noted below. The user interface is very well designed and I was able to operate 80% of the functions without reading the manual. In addition to the 760, I also purchased the Garmin Friction Dashboard Mount which I believe is superior to the glass suction mount provided.

2. Garmin 760
Pros: routing engine seems very good, multi-destination routing optimization, good POI database, more map updates compared to competition, great user interface
Cons: touch screen is not very sensitive, outdated map data, FM transmitter is useless, expensive

What if one device could help you navigate anywhere in the U.S. and Canada, while offering travel tips, storing your favorite tunes and photos, providing translation assistance, and more? That device is here, and it’s not much bigger than a deck of cards. The Garmin nüvi 350 is set to revolutionize what we expect from a GPS navigation device, or from any device for that matter.
With a total weight of 5.1 ounces and slim measurements of 3.87 x 2.91 x 0.87 inches (WxHxD), the nüvi 350 is just right for the pocket or purse. A bright, 64,000-color display dominates the front of the device and a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels means that there’s plenty of room for displaying map data and other elements of the device’s interface. An SD memory card slot is provided for expansion software, such as a points of interest database, media files and electronic guides (see below). The flip-up antenna includes an MCX-type connector for connecting the unit to an external GPS antenna. Meanwhile, a powerful built-in speaker resides on the back of device. A built-in lithium ion battery will give you for to eight hours of battery life, depending on use. In addition to an AC charger, the unit also ships with a 12-volt power adapter for vehicle charging, as well as a windshield suction cup mount.

Customer feedback:

1. After trying other Garmin units, this is the one I kept. Simply wonderful. I bought it when it was more than triple its current price and thought it was good deal then. It’s a great deal now. It has all the characteristics that I was looking for:
- VERY compact — easily able to fit in a breast pocket
- Text-to-Speech — announces proper street names, not just “turn left in 500 feet”; radically reduces how much you need to look at the screen to figure out the real instructions; wouldn’t own a GPS unit wihtout this
- Bright Screen — readable in virtually every situation
AND
Faster location of the GPS satellites. This turns out to be quite important in day-to-day use. In the other systems, it wasn’t unusual that we could be driving for a couple minutes before it located the satellites and could give us directions. With this unit, the satellites are located almost as quickly as the unit fully starts up.

2. The thing is great at telling you what to do and where to go. There are no second guesses. It says take a right, it highlights the turn graphically and it even tells you the road or route you are turning onto verbally, something most GPS’s are missing. Instead of “turn right in .02 miles”, you get “turn on to Vista Drive in .02 miles”. It even has some landmarks that comfort you along the way.
On of the best features is something my wife experienced on a trip to NY. She is not familiar at all with the roads here on the east coast and was taking a rather long drive to NY to a hotel we had never stayed at. Along the way, she managed to mess up and miss one turn. For her, that could have been a major hassle. I mean, you know what it is like. I have spent as much as an hour getting back on track when I was lucky. Even more time was lost when I wasn’t lucky because of detours or road work. One detour in California took me over two hours to recover from on what was originally a 1/2 hour trip. Other GPSs do this too, but this one seems incredibly adept and efficient at it.
When she missed her turn, the system immediately recognized it and redirected her. She lost about five minutes for her goof and didn’t have to ask directions or even pause in her travels.

Customer feedback:

1. A friend had mentioned he had a KIWI and I thought it would be interesting to try it out on a recent road trip. It’s marketed as ‘fun’ so I wondered if it would be helpful in any way. Much to my surprise I found that I adjusted my driving style quite often to keep my ’score’ up which meant I was increasing my MPG. It’s extremely easy to install, use, read, etc and is 100% portable from vehicle to vehicle. For those who do a lot of driving it would certainly pay for itself in a relatively short amount of time!

2. I have owned a Kiwi when it first came out into the market in June, and I say I am very happy with it. I think Kiwi designer has put in a lot of thoughts into the product. Kiwi is more than a simple gas saving device. Its concept is to bring conscious and responsibility to the driver to be aware of his/her driving habit and to change it to drive more greenly.
I found many useful features builded in with the product. The neatest thing is it reports the cost of each trip for the driver to be conscious not to spend $5 worth of gas just to go buy a a pack of gum. It’s also pretty intellegent that it automatically detects different OBDII standards in the cars and automatically adjust itself to work flawlessly with it, a truely plug-n-play. Once installed, it goes to sleep and wake up automatically every time you drive the car. It also give ability to keep track of previous several trips to show improvement or lack of improvement in MPG and your driving behavior.
I found that high MPG is not everything! For example you can take 3 different routes from home to work. Though you can take a freeway with report highest MPG but you have to drive longer, you may not necessary save gas more than the city route with slightly lower MPG. With Kiwi, I can drive 3 different routes and compare what it actually costs me in each route, so the route that saves most gas can be selected over the route that saves most time, and vice versa.

In addition, the extender doesn’t sacrifice your autofocus on any EOS camera as long as it’s combined with a lens having an f/4 or faster maximum aperture (the extender reduces the effective aperture by one f-stop). Best of all, this version maintains the outstanding optics of the earlier incarnation, but adds a weather-resistant construction and improved anti-reflective surfaces in the barrel. The EF 1.4x II extender, which measures 2.9 inches in diameter and 1.1 inches long, weighs 7.8 ounces.

Technical Details
1.4x telephoto extender for multiplying focal length of Canon 135mm or longer lenses
Fits all 135mm or longer fixed focal length lenses and some 70-200mm telephoto lenses
Preserves autofocus on any EOS camera when combined with f/4 or faster lens
Weather-resistant construction and improved anti-reflective surfaces in the barrel
Measures 2.9 inches in diameter and 1.1 inches long; weighs 7.8 ounces

Customer feedback:

1. The 1.4X II teleconverter is a modest update to Canon’s earlier 1.4X TC. The mark II allows this extender to be stacked with another of Canon’s extenders (either another 1.4X II or the 2X II) without having to separate the two with an extension tube (although the loss of sharpness from stacking extenders may not be acceptable to you). Otherwise, the quality of the newer 1.4X II is supposed to be very similar to the older model, which I’ve never owned.
The 1.4X II is a great way to extend the reach of compatible lenses. Note that not every Canon lens is compatible with this extender. The following is from Canon’s Web site: “This tele extender can be used with fixed focal length lenses 135mm and longer (except the 135mm f/2.8 Softfocus lens), and the EF 70-200 f/2.8L, 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 70-200 f/4.0L, and 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS zoom lenses.”
I use it frequently with my Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS, which turns it into a 98-280mm zoom. The extra reach it adds is not tremendous, but it’s very welcome when I just need a little more than what the lens alone can give me.

2. I have both the 1.4x and 2x teleconverters from Canon. Neither, despite what people say, produces an image that just as sharp as the original lens. But images through the 2x are noticably bad from even a casual inspection while images through the 1.4x hold up very well. Carefully controlled test shots are the easiest way to really see the problems in this converter. But for the most part the 1.4x won’t be a liability in sharpness.
The 1.4x loses one stop of light. So while this does work on a 100mm-400mm f/4.5-5.6 IS L lens, I wouldn’t reccommend it. Save this for the 200mm f/2.8 L, and the 300mm f/2.8 IS L, and any bigger primes you have.

The lens offers extended coverage to an ultra-wide-angle 24mm, making it ideal for digital as well as film shooters. The new processing unit, meanwhile, makes the autofocus (AF) faster than ever. And thanks to the two aspherical elements and a totally new UD glass element, the optics are far superior to the earlier lens. Sealed and gasketed against dust and moisture, the EF 24-70mm lens carries a one-year warranty.

Customer feedback:

1. Simply put, this is the best all-around lens that Canon manufactures. It produces razor-sharp images with startling color and saturation, and at f/2.8 across the zoom range is capable of shooting in all but the dimmest of lighting conditions. The “L” glass (Canon’s professional line of lenses) is simply the best out there, bar none, from any manufacturer. It’s pricey, but well worth it.
I use this lens for portrait and wedding photography, landscapes, sports, and anything else that doesn’t require extreme telephoto. In concert with my EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM lens, I find that these two lenses cover just about everything I ever want to shoot. Of the two lenses, if I could pick only one, it would be the 24-70mm, because it’s so versatile and can shoot so many situations (the 70-200mm is also a marvelous, invaluable lens, but at 70mm is limited in wide-angle situations).
I can’t recommend this lens highly enough. If you can afford the entry fee, you’ll have no hint of buyer’s remorse once you see the spectacular images this lens produces.

2. ‘ve owned the 24-70mm for almost a year now. This lens has been a favorite of many since it replaced its well-regarded predecessor, the 28-70mm. It shoots images that are very sharp and have excellent contrast and saturation. It’s sharp wide open and only gets better when stopping down. The USM (Ultrasonic Motor) focuses very fast, and full-time manual focusing is allowed. I’ve thought about buying a 50mm f/1.4, but the results from this lens are so good, I’m having a hard time justifying the purchase. I’ve been nothing but pleased with the pictures I get from the 24-70mm. The constant f/2.8 aperture is great for shooting indoors and produces a very nice bokeh (background blur) when shooting portraits. This lens is much heavier than comparable consumer-grade zooms, but I don’t object to the weight. I actually like the heft and feel of this lens on my 20D. The only feature I wish it had is IS (image stabilization).
The 24-70mm bests the 24-105mm in one way: It’s a faster lens. That translates into the following advantages: At f/4.0, the 24-105mm cannot stop subject motion blur as well in low-light situations where the 24-70mm’s f/2.8 can give you a shutter speed that is twice as fast. Note that IS does not have any impact at all on subject motion blur, only on camera shake on your end. If bokeh (background blur) is important to you, the 24-70mm will have a slight advantage over the 24-105mm given its wider aperture. A wider aperture also helps a camera focus a little better in low light.

Customer feedback:

1. The Gary Fong Lightsphere Cloud Universal System is great. You are able to use it on any flash. With several different cameras, I do not have to mess around with a light diffuser for each camera. I love this product. It really takes the “blunt” light away and illuminates wonderfully.
If you are looking for something that can be packed away in a tight space, this is not the product. It is hard plastic. I run the strap of my camera bag though it and store the dome in the bag. Easy to get to and you will always know you have it with your camera. I love this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a superior diffuser.

2. First the “bad” news. The price seems a bit high considering it is basically a piece of plastic. That is the only reason I’ve given it four stars rather than five. Now the good news; it does exactly what Gary Fong says it will do. The DVD that comes with it, while being a commercial for other Gary Fong products also does an excellent job of explaining how to use it. The quality of light is excellent. The removable top cap allows bouncing off ceilings as well.
I’ve used it for both portraits and macro photography and the results are superb. For portrait work exclusively I would recommend the clear Lightsphere. Highly recommended.

The Two-Way Bounce is a pocket size Bounce Card that gives you the advantage of bouncing without the need of a ceiling. The unit is small enough to fit into a shirt pocket and yet delivers a big punch of light. The package also includes a mini Panel that provides a kicker light for fill lighting use. All units, except UNI, are custom mounted with adapter provided and require No Velcro. Adapters can be reversed for shoot thru panel lighting as well.

Customer feedback:

Beware the one you’ll receive is not the one in the picture. That aside it does attach with heavy duty tape not Velcro. Some may come with tape some with Velcro I don’t know, mine came with tape. I have taken practice shots with it in the house and the shots look great. As for the quality its not the strongest thing in the world but for 20 (13.95 + shipping) bucks can you complain for a two in one that comes with two different bounces, one large one small. The bounce is so lite weight that I doubt it will ever break off and if the attachment does fall off just super glue it back on.
