I bought this stereo for my daughter who lives in a studio condo. Space is at a premium so I was looking for a compact system, but didn’t want to compromise quality. This stereo is compact,good looking and can be placed on a bookshelf(which she did), or mounted on the wall. In spite of the small size, the sound is BIG.
The system required a minimum of setup and all of it was intuitive. The sound is pretty good. I can adjust the simpistic EQ along with the bass and treble to compensate for my upper frequency hearing loss. The volume is enough to rattle the windows.
I like this little stereo. I takes very little room, looks clean, and is jammed with feaures–plays CDs, AM/FM, connects to a variety of sources with Bluetooh, and has an I-anything (almost) dock.

It easily synced with my phone, so setup was a snap. I use it in two different cars – a Honda CRV and a Honda Del Sol (my sunny day fun car). The sound is good and people on the other end seem to have no trouble understanding me. I’ve used it when I had the top off of the Del Sol – it had some minor difficulty due to wind noise, but it worked. I like that it works with the voice commands of my phone. I haven’t had to use the charge cord yet – it had enough power in the battery for setup and then I mounted it in the windshield to use the solar charging.

I mount it a little below and to the left (driver’s side) of the rear view mirror – this limits the amount of windshield view that is “blocked” (in case a cop finds an issue with something mounted on my windshield) since the mirror covers the top half of the device from my viewpoint as a driver. That placement also easily allows me to reach it with my right hand to press the button to make or receive calls.

I bought this a few weeks after it first went on sale. Works great, takes some time getting used to the controls and all the different setting you can choose. Bluetooth works good also, sends a request to my phone whenever I start my car. Only took seconds to upload my entire address book from my Katana. Navigation works well also, but havn’t used that as much. I was very surprised it had a lot of the small unpaved roads that I sometimes travel on when I was driving. I also bought the Kenwood iP300V to play my iPod (80 GB Classic) through. Which works great, no glitches or freezing during any point. Plays the videos that are on my iPod also. Bottom line no problems so far it’s a great product and would recommend this to anyone looking for all these features for a great price.
Pros: Good Sound, great image; you can customize the interface, i actually connect this unit to my Zune and sounds great.Great Equaliazer, phone interface and Sound Dolby Pro Logic options.

Cons: Bluetooth doesn work perfect, the unit comes with the version 1.6 of the firmware i decide to update the software to the 1.7 and i can see some improve, but sometimes my phone disconnect from the unit.

I have to say that installation was easy. Just took some time as I wanted to be careful. The interface is easy to use. I did not have to read the owners manual at all. I installed sirius satellite radio as well. I purchased the tuner as well as the sirius clarion interface.
The navigation works very well and has a lot of great features. The display of buildings is very neat, much different from the garmin interface which I have been using for a long time.
The bluetooth is amazing. One very important thing is to download the firmware update from Clarion’s website. The sound is very clear, much better than my last car that had nav/bluetooth built in from the factory.
The audio quality is much better than the factory unit, which was Clarion also.
