1. I bought this smartphone to replace a lot of devices I used to carry on my backpack, guess what… I did it.
I have everything in just one device, cell phone, contacts, emails, web browser, etc.
The sync works well so I can receive and reply emais even when out-of-office. The TouchFlo interface is amazing, very intuitive.
The cameras has great image and a lot of options and has a built-in GPS, believe me, that works.
Windows Mobile 6 was incredible improved.

1. I recently upgraded to the ROKR E6 from my RAZR v3. This is a great little all-around phone and I’m very happy with it so far. It may not be the best choice for power users who need really high-end PDA functionality, but it’s solid in the basics.
As mentioned in other reviews, when you get the phone its menus are in Chinese; to change this to English you must tap the icon in the upper left corner of the screen to bring up the menu icons. Scroll down and tap the settings icon which looks like a wrench. Tap the 5th option from the top to see language choices and you can then select English. The documentation is also in Chinese, but if you search online you can find an English version in .pdf format.
2. One nifty feature is the handwriting recognition, having been a Palm user, I had no problems adapting to it, there are some differences in the handwriting recognition versus the Palm, but they should not pose a problem for experienced users. The recognition setting comes initially set to slow, I switched it to medium but it still is slower than my stylus skills, so I might have to set it to fast and see if that improves it rate of recognition so I can not have to wait between writing one letter before writing the next. I’ve paired it with my Palm TX and my Plantronics Voyager 510, without any problem. However, I’ve not seen the option of dropping the bluetooth connection with the device and the handset. As the device is new I assume I’ve not located it yet. It would be a cumbersome deal if one has to turn off bluetooth completely when you do not want to use the headset.

2. This phone is hard-to-find-common-sense approach in design and technology. I have never seen better phone. This is not a gadget that makes your life miserable because you need to worry every day that batteries are charged or you need to spend 1/2 day on setup or figuring out why current time does not show on screen. If you need features behind phone, get Apple iPhone if you need just a cell phone, get Motorola F3.

Very small and very thin, when I first ordered this phone the fear I had was that it would also be quite liable to break easy but in spite of its size it is quite a sturdy little phone (obviously if you are one prone to dropping your phone on concrete pavements its not going to last long but to anyone else, its more than enough)
The phone is pretty easy to set up and use and follows a similar format to any other phone you may have previously used. There are all the usual add ons to the phone such as music player, camera and video option. One thing I will say though is I found the camera to be of rather poor quality. When taking a picture you need to hold the phone completely steady the slightest movement will cause the picture to blur so rather pointless if you are on a boat or any kind of moving object or outdoors on a windy day or sitting next to screaming kids.

The K850 brings even more true camera functionality to the world of cameraphones. The new 5 megapixel auto-focus camera has a real xenon flash and a lens cover that automatically retracts when the camera is activated with the dedicated shutter button. Another camera related boon is the QVGA resolution, 30 frame per second video clip recording capability. Like most of the current Sony Ericsson devices, the K850 supports stereo music playback and ships with a wired stereo headset. MP3 and other formats of music files can be stored in the 40MB of internal memory or in an external memory card. Amazingly, the K850 supports both Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards as well as the industry standard microSD memory cards.

1. Ok - I don’t write many reviews but this product has made my driving more enjoyable. I make several calls in the car on the way home from work and without the booster I would loose calls in about 6-7 places on the journey home. With the booster installed - magnetic antenna on the center edge of the trunk near the window and the inside receptor under the carpet in the back seat (a minimal effort on my part), and there is only one spot where the call . may . drop. What a difference. I don’t have the embarassment of loosing a call that I made because I was mobile. This antenna/booster works as it is described to. Keep the external antenna atleast 15 inches from people (just like you shouldn’t hold a cell phone to your head for extended periods) and it is pheonominal.
2. I live on the fringe of the cell tower service area. I have numerous dropped calls in my home when I just use my cell phone, but with this device (Yes, I know it’s made for an automobile.) operating in my home, via a 12 volt DC power supply, antenna in a window and sitting near the signal pick-up device my phone goes from none or 1 bar signal strength to 2 to 3 bars of signal strength. The calls are crystal clear, too, per comments from my family and friends. I would, and have, recommended this device to my family and friends.
