1. I am not a computer geek so will skip the technical mumbo-jumbo and give the laymans review… It works good. Ive had it for a couple weeks now and I have no complaints. Everything runs fast and smooth. The moniter is big and bright and clear. For what I do (web surfing, photo editing, media streaming) it works great. Also, I gotta say that I love Windows 7. To me it is a big leap forward from my previous operating system Windows XP.

2. Great computer with HD Screen, the new Windows 7 so user friendly, and I love the expanded keyboard – with numbers set off to the side. I was looking at laptops twice the price ($600-$700) when I saw this one pop up on the best sellers list for Amazon. The only difference between the higher price notebooks and this Compaq is that it does not have a webcam or 4 GB of memory – it only has 2 but is expandable to 4. You can’t get a better laptop for the price $379. Very happy with my purchase!

Another great product from Belkin. I have used it when traveling with my laptop to hook up extra equipment. I have used it at home with my desktop for some added USB-2 level ports. It is great as it is very small and can fit in a shirt pocket, backpack, shoulder bag or purse. It provides you with 4 ports, high speed transfer rates and it is plug and play so NO SOFTWARE required which is always a good thing.

I need a powered USB hub. I run several high power draws: a cooling plate and USB powered hard drives. This is the only one I could find that actually told me how much power it gaves each outlet, 500m amps. The 2 vertical ports are handy for quickly plugging in flash drives.
Belkin is a trusted name too for me, alot of their products are really friendly to the Apple world. I really felt comfortable buying this. So far it works great, I love the fact that it has the 7 ports and that everything is neatly organized. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to add more ports to their laptop/desktop.
