I really like this notebook kit. There are several things that stand out about it.

1) Stylish – the mouse, keyboard and stand are all minimalistic, but look nice with black and yellow accents.
2) Quality – I buy a lot of logitech stuff, but this seems to be really good as far as the build of the keyboard and mouse.
3) USB adapter – it comes with the low profile USB adapter so you never have to take it out of your notebook. This was the main reason i bought the kit, to replace my old notebook mouse with annoying large USB plug.
4) No Wires – some people may want a kit with extra USB ports or inputs, but i did not. I’m glad because there are no extra wires to clutter up my desk.
So overall no complaints.

This is a very simple, portable and well-designed lapdesk that performs it’s job well as an extra barrier between the lap and a notebook, laptop or netbook. The lapdesk has a mouse pad built into it that can be slid in and out. The lapdesk is covered in a silicone-like material that helps to keep a laptop in place and is also easy to clean.
This Logitech item is well made and does well in securing a 15″ (maximum) laptop and helping to dissipate heat. I am giving it 5 stars for a simple, usable and durable design and functionality. Please keep in mind that this is not meant as a laptop cooling device but is only meant to be used as a stabilizing and heat shielding device on one’s lap.

I ordered this riser because it seemed to be just what I needed, and it’s fantastic! Even though my laptop has a smaller screen than I’m used to for a desktop computer, having it eye-level makes all the difference in the world. I love the fact that the stand swivels so I can move it around easily for my comfort. Another plus is that it fits in my laptop sleeve with my computer, so I can have it with me wherever I need it. This laptop riser is exactly what I needed. I love it!

Overall I must say I am more than impressed with the Boom, especially for the price. I am already thinking about adding one to the baby’s room so that I have a stereo in there I can remotely control from my Duet/PC to play soothing music while still being able to listen to my tunes when I have to wake up with her.
If you are looking for a small network music player that you can move to the various rooms of the house then the Boom is definitely worth looking into…Now, don’t expect room filling sound in a 50×50 banquet hall, but for bedrooms etc… it is pretty awesome.
